Introduction to the cafeteria credit system

Learn the basics of our internal system of credits for cafeterias and residences

Our internal Abamaíz credit system is designed to keep a simple accounting of a fixed amount of credit points given to all users in a given restaurant or (mainly) cafeteria. The system is implemented when there is a closed community with a fixed number of users. This can simplify the community's accounting in the long run.

How it works

The idea is that you have a fixed list of clients (to which new users can be added, of course) that you have identified in a certain way (identity document, phone, email, etc.).
To this list of clients, you can give a fixed amount of credits during a period (typically monthly) for them to use as credits to buy in your restaurant/cafeteria from the Abamaíz app. Your clients must log into their account before registering the payment (checkout).
The credits are renewed at the end of this period and you can allow the possibility of "exceeding" (overdrawing) or letting users spend more than the credits they have.
In any case, a complete accounting is kept.

Basic settings

The basic settings of the credit system are very delicate and must be handled internally by our engineering and customer experience teams. We will help you with some of the information you should give us, but the configuration and determination of all parameters should be understood with your assigned experience representative (or contact us).
You must provide us with the following data:
  • Credit amount: amount of credits (in Mexican pesos) that will be provided in the determined time space (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc.)
  • Time: how often these credits will be renewed (e.g. every week, every month).
  • Auto-renewal: if you want the credits to be automatically renewed at the end of this time period.
  • Start date: when we will deposit the credits in your users' accounts
  • Overdraft: if you want to give the possibility of overdrawing users' credits.

Accounting

From your Abamaíz app, you can view the complete accounting for each user (and for the total), their credit and expense records, at any time.
