Use this guide to understand the fundamentals of menu editing. As our current QR code menu option is set up, we at Abamaíz provide you with the initial settings and input the first version of your menu onto our interface. For many reasons, you as a restaurateur might wish to edit some of your menu items. Maybe there’s a change in prices, an ingredient is out of stock or an item is no longer available in the menu, either way, we want to provide you with the ability to quickly and easily modify the menu at your convenience.
Step-by-step
1- Enter your Abamaíz app console (https://app.abamaiz.mx/) you should be able to login with the credentials provided to you by our staff (beforehand). If you have any problems logging in, please contact us right away.
2- You should now be in the main Abamaíz app. The different sections present in the left menu can guide you through different parts of the app. Let’s see what they you can accomplish in each one!
Páginas
Categorías:
These are the main categories within your menu. They usually pertain to similar dish groups such as appetizers, beverages, main courses, entrées, desserts, etc. You can modify the name and order here.
Productos:
These are the main dishes you serve. They each have their own price and different modifiers you can apply to them (extras, modifications on sugar, remove ingredients, etc.). You can modify the name, price and modifiers for a certain dish here. You can also modify whether or not the modifier is required for the dish to be ordered (i.e. how a steak is cooked is necessary information, any extras can be skipped)
Orden:
This is where you order your different dishes within your menu. You create pairings of category and dish: Desserts ↔ Chocolate Cake.
You can modify here the order these appear within the category (1. Chocolate cake, 2. Brownie, 3. Cheesecake) and whether or not they are visible on the menu (you can remove visibility from dishes you no longer wish appear in the menu).
Personalizables
Create and customize the different modifiers that will be present in your dishes. They can be used to remove ingredients, add extra ingredients, modify the sugar content or the dairy used. It all depends on your needs.
Remember that a single modifier can be used in a variety of dishes. Here, you can edit the name of the modifier and whether or not it allows for single or multiple choices (i.e. how cooked you want a steak vs. which toppings to add to a bowl).
Opciones
Here you can edit and create the options that will go in the modifiers themselves. This refers to the variety of options that a modifier will have (i.e. extras for hamburgers → extra bacon, extra cheese, extra pickles). You can modify the name and price (if it comes at no charge, you simply input 0).
