How to mark a product as unavailable (because of missing ingredients)

Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients or accidents happen in the kitchen. It's important that we can mark some menu items as "unavailable" or temporarily remove them from the menu. Especially with our Abamaíz app, where the customer places the order and pays to place the order, it's necessary to avoid any confusion.

Step-by-step

1- Open your Abamaíz mobile app on your cell phone or tablet (iOS or Android)

2- Swipe right to enter the menu and choose the Menu preview option

3- Scroll down to find the product you want to temporarily disable and choose the Set status option

4- A menu will open with the following options to disable the product:
  1. Date: the date on which you want to disable the product (you can only disable for 1 day at a time)
  1. From, To: the time range in which you want to disable. If it's all day, just choose a range with all hours, you can exceed without problem.
  1. Is visible on the menu: enable this option for the item to still appear on the menu or not
  1. Is sold out: enable this option for the item to appear as "sold out" on the menu and not allow its purchase

5- Click on Submit and that's it! The product is disabled on the day and time range you selected.
